Farewell Ernest Borgnine…… thank you for the years of entertainment you’ve provided us! Airwolf, Mchale’s Navy, RED and of course, Spongebob Squarepants!
It is a pity that this generation only knows Ernest Borgnine as the voice of Spongebobs’ Mermaid Man from Nickelodeon’s Songebob Squarepants. But Ernest Borgnine had a fascinating acting career spanning 60 years. Borgnine died on July 8th, 2012, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California at the age of 95.
