Spain’s historic win in the Euro 2012 final match-up against Italy on Sunday night was, clearly, an historic moment – the team, after all, were the first ever to win three major tournaments in a row. And you have to remember, commentator Alan Shearer noted, that these guys have had an “unbelievable amount of sex.”
Oops.
Shearer quickly covered up the slip-up by saying “success”, but we all know what he really meant – and that he’s probably right.
