Have you ever had an epiphany where you randomly thought, "Wow! I have changed!"? It is even better when those changes are favorable (towards you and others, alike!). I find it interesting that one has the capability to surprise him/herself.
Whoever coined the phase that leopard can't change his spots was not entirely right! We all are capable of change. We simply need the will to do so ... and we need to accept who we are ... in order to change. It is definitely not easy and neither does it happen overnight. It is a process, rather a long one ... but it is extremely satisfying to know that you are in control of, not only your emotions but also your behavior.
