End of the Road Festival Vs. In the Woods \\ Clash of the Festivals

Posted on the 19 April 2014 by Djwillis14

End of the Road

After roughly a 4 month long hiatus, the sunshine has made its first public appearance this year. It’s enough to start day dreaming about sipping cider in the sunshine whilst watching live music.

Already the calibre of UK festivals for this summer is looking immense but come the last weekend in August, there’s a clash between 2 wonderful festivals. To help you work out which festival to pick we’ve designed them as job vacancies with application details.

*Both roles are only short term from 29th – 31st August. Idiots and Muppets need not apply.*

Good luck!

In The Woods Festival

The role: New Artist Fanatic, secret location.

We’re looking for an attendee who can get really stuck in at our festival.

What we offer:

An intimate boutique festival set in an enchanted forest at a secret location.

The best up and coming talent before they’ve made it big – we booked Alt-J just before they hit the charts.

Excellent benefits including free water and Bring Your Own Booze allowing you to keep costs down.

Skills desired:

You’ll be adventurous, willing to take risks and enjoy new experiences. Not knowing the artists performing only adds to your excitement. You’ll be at the forefront of new music and festivals are your idea of perfection. Anything else is an added bonus.

Application details:

Only 1000 spaces are available so we’re sorry we can’t respond to all applicants. It’s £75 for the one day event and you can camp the night before. We hope to see you there.

Into the Woods

End of The Road Festival

The role: Music Appreciator, Latimer Gardens

We’re looking for a happy camper, with or without children, who knows good music.

What we offer:

Bands we love and hope you do too. This year’s line-up includes Yo La Tengo, The Horrors, The Flaming Lips and Wild Beasts.

Lush gardens with an abundance of extras; workshops, comedy shows, games, making this fun for all the family.

A relaxed atmosphere allowing you to fully enjoy the artists. Note – emotive performances often receive the silent adoration they deserve.

Skills desired:

You relish the opportunity to go to festival and don’t mind if the whole family comes with you. Being an indie music fan is desirable but not essential; we want the candidate to ultimately enjoy festivals. You’re a good weather lover and camping along with a lack of showering doesn’t put you off.

Application details:

Last year’s festival sold out and we’re already on tier 4 of 5 tickets so don’t delay in applying. It’s £170 for the 3 days. We look forward to hearing from you.
