How to Enable Disqus Commenting System for Blogger Blog
Are you bored with the old blogger blog commenting system? Do you want to increase your comment flow on your blog?
Now, you can easily integrate the disqus commenting system to your blogger blog without much stress.
Are you wondering what’s Disqus? According to its developer “Disqus is a free service that enables great online communities. Yahoo or CNN are a perfect example of sites that are using the commenting system.

How do I install it?
First off, go to Disqus official website to create an account. But if you already have an account with them, you can simply just login.

In your disqus dashboard, click “Settings” at the top right of your dashboard.
Clicking it will bring out a dropdown menu… see image below
In the dropdown menu, click “Add Disqus to Site” to take you to a new form page. See image above
In this new page, make sure you fill all fields correctly before clicking the “Finish Registration” button once through.
Clicking the “Finish Registration” button, will take you to a new page where you’ll chose the platform you wish to use the disqus commenting system on.
In the list of blogs, we have;

Universal code – for those who have a static site (Based on HTML)
-
WordPress
-
Blogger
-
Tumblr
-
Squarespace
-
TypePad
-
MovableType
-
Drupal
-
Joomla.
If your blog platform is not mentioned here, you can simply use the “Universal Code” option.
Since we want to install it on our blogger blog, simply click the blogger icon
Have you done that? In the new page, click the number one link and set the particular site where you want the comment box to enter. Doing so, you will see an image like the one below…
Click “Add Widget” >>> click “save Arrangement” and you are almost done.
Now go back to your disqus installation page and scroll down to the bottom >>> and click the “Verify” button
Note: If you already have some comments in your blogger blog, you can simply use option 2 in the disqus installation page to import all your comments to your new commenting system.
MAKING DISQUS WORK WITH INTERNET EXPLORER
It might not work well for visitors who use internet explorer to visit your blog except if you’re using a customize template.
So here’s what we’ll do – try visiting your blog using Internet Explorer and if it comes up well, then no need for any further workout. But if there’s any compatibility issue if the disqus commenting system, just follow the simple tip below;
Go to your blogger blog dashboard >>>> in your menu bar at the left side of your blogger dashboard, Click “Template” >>> click “Edit HTML”
Now, in the <head> tag area, find the below line of codes.
<meta content='IE=EmulateIE7' http-equiv='X-UA-Compatible '/>
Have you seen it? Now replace it with the below code
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9; IE=8; IE=7; IE=EDGE; chrome=1" />
Have you done that? Click the “Save Template” button and you have successfully done it…
Now we have successfully added the Disqus commenting system to our blog without any problem or much stress. Looks more advance and matured, right?
