Hi All,
I am a massive fan of green living. I, like so many of us, try to do my bit to keep our world healthy and strong. I recycle, I reuse and I certainly remake, but I have started to question whether this is enough? Could I swap to just buying eco friendly clothing, could I stop using spray on deodorant or switch to an electric car. The answer is mostly no, mainly because I simply don’t have the funds to but a new car and roll on deodorant is sticky, yuck in my opinion. However I have decided to make some small changes to my wardrobe and this will be to incorporate more Eco friendly clothing.
The majority of us will have heard of People Tree as a brand and I have featured them bellow, but I also want to highlight some smaller brands who are changing the world one dress at a time.
Eco Friendly Brands to Look Out For

Edun are my new personal favorites. I love the femininity of there cuts and fabric choices and that isn’t mentioning the beautiful patterns. They trade directly with Africa and have thus created a direct relationship between the clothing, the designers and the makers – I love that you can clearly see the journey the garments have taken. The founders of the brand, Ali Hewson and Bono, began this beautiful fashion relationship in 2005, in order to both source ethically made materials and create an eco friendly brand that will help develop the trade routes with Africa.
A beautiful idea which has in turn created an amazing array of boho chic clothing. I love it!
We also have Loomstate featured here. They are a fairly new brand and I have picked them for there different take on ethical and eco fashion. Their designs are strong and often slightly masculine, giving greener living an edgier presence. I love the blend between bold colours and structured tailoring, it just shows that high fashion doesn’t have to costs the earth anything.
People Tree and always worth a visit – their site, their brand and there clothing is girly, fun and 100% eco friendly, so we love the instantly!
Also worth a look at are these fabulous accessories

So there you have it, eco fashion is just as fun as non ethical brands. The best thing is that when you buy these items not only will you enjoy wearing them, but you will be saving a small patch of our diverse world.
