Dodger Love

By Svprili @svprili
Happy New Year to all!We spent the day taking down sails, something we should have done months ago! We were surprised how easy it was. We were very optimistic that it would all fit in the back of my car with life jackets and 100 egg cartons. HA! We stacked them on top of the volvo and they are currently in the shop at our work. We'll have to get them home with a trailer. Going to turn the apartment above our garage in our own personal sail loft. Nice. I'll have to pull out the book I bought of mending sails because I am clueless.  Last week was very eventful. We got our shit hot dodger on. She still needs to be glassed on the boat but she's sturdily held with putty. We think it looks great. We weren't to sure if it would look bulky and stick out like a sore thumb but once we slap some paint on you would think it was original! Going to make a canvas covering for the top in rainy/ rough weather to protect the entrance way but no more slamming our heads on the dodger!! Hopefully I can find a youtube video on how to pull that one off. We are lucky enough to have a friend that loves gadgets so we'll be able to cut the widows out ourselves. He is also making up a custom table top for the salon. Thanks Mike!
