Our first look at the Doctor for the upcoming Season 9 comes by way of an EW photo, which " shows the Doctor about to make a mistake that has cataclysmic repercussions" as Capaldi himself described it.
Regarding the two-part premiere, Capaldi said "It places the Doctor in a conflict that is central to his being, as well as containing some subtle tributes to the '60s, and truly wonderful guest performances."
What could the Doctor be doing? How much does Missy factor into all of this?Doctor Who Series 9 will premiere sometime this fall. Hopefully an official announcement will be made this week at Comic-Con.
