Blue Peter ran a contest to design sonic devices for Strax, Jenny and Vastra for the upcoming 8th season of Doctor Who. The contest was open for children from ages 6-15 to to submit their designs. Over 3600 entries were received and these are the three winners, chosen by a panel of judges that included Steven Moffat:

I love how thought out the winning designs are, with my favorite being Vastra’s Hat Pin.
