DOCTOR WHO – BBC To Announce The New Doctor Today?

Posted on the 08 June 2013 by Geekasms @geekasms

Okay, take all this with a grain of salt, but according to the British sci-Fi magazine Starburst, a Sunday newspaper, which apparently has photos from a TARDIS photo-shoot, is intending to scoop the BBC by announcing who the new Doctor is this weekend.  In order to counteract this, the channel is rumored to make the announcement today (Saturday) prior to the newspaper’s release.  The website also reports that their sources say that early contender Ben Daniels is not in the running for the part, and that while they can’t be 100% certain, they’re told the part might go to one of three possible actors: Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter), Daniel Kaluuya, and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger).

It’s interesting because some rumors and theories had suggested that the BBC would wait to announce the next Doctor at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, now if that time-table is right or not, no one can say, but if this rushed and unplanned announcement is true, no doubt the BBC is far from happy right now.

So, from the three actors listed, what are your feelings regarding them?  Can you see them being the next Doctor?
