Here are a few of the latest nuggets of info regarding the upcoming series 9 of Doctor Who.
Filming in Spain
It appears that some filming will be occuring in Spain for the upcoming season, as Director of Photography Ali Asad, who is set to work on two episodes, tweeted:
Going to Spain on a location recce for the DR.

Clearly the folks at BBC felt he had said too much as the tweet has since been taken down. So the Spain filming might contain some good spoilers for the two episodes. Time will tell as the most recent episodes to have scenes filmed in Spain were A Town Called Mercy, Asylum of the Daleks, and Kill the Moon
Blink director set to direct for series 9
Hettie MacDonald, the director of the famed and highly regarded introduction to the Weeping Angels; Blink, is set to direct at least one episode for the upcoming season according to reports online.
