DIY Face Mask/ Scrub

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1

This face mask is very close to my heart as I grew up making it with my mom every few months. I have the sweetest memories of my sisters and I trying to awkwardly chit-chat without much facial expression over the weekends, mostly on Sundays, when my mom would slather this face mask on all the three sister's faces and order us not to speak as too much facial movement would create lines on our skin.

Spring was the time when the markets were inundated with fresh oranges and while everyone would eat the oranges and discard the peels, my mom would save the orange peels, dry them and mix it with another ingredient from her pantry and make a fresh, organic, homemade face mask. It is a very simple face mask that does need a little prep but your entire family including kids could use it as it very gentle, plus you don't need to head out to do any shopping, you probably might have everything in your home right now.
