Glaswegian quartetDeclan Welsh & The Decadent West come close to the edge on their new single First To Know. The protagonist is at his wits end and is contemplating giving in if it wasn't for his friends reaching and pulling him back. The contrast by almost upbeat music and the dark lyrics make it a pretty intense listening experience.
