Crafting at West Elm

Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmI'm milking this paper amaryllis for all its worth. How many blog posts has it been now?! I'm sure you're tired of them, but I had to share proof that I'm not the only doing them. In fact, there were MANY West Elms across the country that made paper flower amaryllis last week including the event I led in Salt Lake City. There were 75 people who RSVPd and I prayed that only 12 would show up. 12 is optimal: 12 months, 12 apostles, 12 days of Christmas, 12 years a slave, 12 monkeys. A happy medium showed up: 30. 30 is a party and I certainly adhered by the "It's my party and I'll dance if I want to." Have I ever revealed that I have a problem with not knowing when I dance in public? It just happens. Jessica Peterson was kind enough to come snap some shots. Thanks Jess!
I secured some vintage stamen so we could add some real classiness to our flowers.Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmI have to comment on Melinda. I'm going to do a blog post about Melinda some day. She's the smartest dresser I know (and many other non-superficial qualities). That night she showed up in all black and then this magical photo happend. BOOM.Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmIt's the ciiiircle, the circle of life:Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmThis one here celebrated her birthday making paper flowers with us! I felt so honored that she chose to be there and no force was involved.Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmMet some new friends.Crafting at West ElmCrafting at West ElmDon't they look good?! We had such a great time. Thanks everyone for coming! And thank you West Elm, both at headquarters and at SLC for being so great to work with. You guys are da bomb.
