There’s a whole bunch of new collaborations going on in fashion and beauty right now, real good ones too.
Proenza Schouler for MAC was released in the US last week and it dropped in the UK on selfridges.com today and I’m so excited for mine to come, if only for the gorgeous packaging.
Lorde for MAC is a collaboration with AMAZING musician Lorde featuring just 2 key pieces, a black eyeliner and a deep purple lipstick, so Lorde. Can’t wait till this comes to the UK, currently scheduled for June.
Maleficent MAC, I know, lot’s of MAC collections going on right now! They’ve done a really great collection based around Angelina Jolie’s upcoming portrayal of Maleficent and it looks excellent. They’ve done Disney collections before and they’ve been gorgeous, I have the most lovely shade of Maleficent lipstick from their previous Disney Villains collection. Not sure on the UK release date on this one, they just revealed the line today and it’s 15th May for USA.
Kate Moss for Topshop was released yesterday. I’ve talked about this on the blog before, it’s just not me. And I’m glad it’s not because I’m a sucker for collabs and that would’ve cost me a fortune at a crucial savings time. I’m sure lots of people like it a lot though, there’s a few pieces I don’t mind but it’s not making me whip my credit card out.
Alexander Wang X H&M was recently announced and although it won’t be released till November 6th (also good news for my savings right now) it’s still VERY exciting and I’ll probably want it all.
Birkenstock & Sacai Luck have gotten together and while I’ve never really got the vibe of Birkenstocks before, these are insane and I kind of need them. Unfortunately they’re over $500.
