Christmas in NYC…We Have a Winner!

Posted on the 02 November 2013 by Jean Campbell

The Christmas in NYC lottery is closed; we have a winner!

The winner will be announced in two weeks, after eligibility information is verified. We will share pictures of the getaway in a post in  January 2014.

Christmas

The winner of Christmas in NYC and a companion will spend 3 days and nights at the Marriott East at 49th and Lexington Avenue in the heart of Manhattan. The Marriott is just blocks from the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall and the Christmas Spectacular, and Fifth Avenue with its Christmas windows at Lord &Taylor, Saks, Tiffany, and Bergdorf Goodman.

The Christmas in NYC getaway includes accommodations, gratuities and breakfasts at the Marriott. It also includes two $100 gift certificates for dinners at restaurants near the Marriott, and tickets to the Christmas spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.

There will be more Pink Time Outs in 2014. The first three states selected for Pink Time Outs in 2014 are California, Florida and Texas.  Pink Time Outs will include cruises as well as land getaways.

As fundraising activities generate additional revenue for the Pink Time Outs Program, we will be adding getaways in other states throughout the US.

In 2014, the Program will expand eligibility to include women and men with metastatic breast cancer, and on active treatment.  There will now be two groups of women and men eligible to participate in Pink Time Outs. To clarify, in addition to those women and men within one year of completing active treatment for their initial breast cancer diagnosis, or a second primary, or local recurrence that is not metastatic disease, Pink Time Outs will be open to those with metastatic breast cancer and on active treatment indefinitely.

We will announce the dates and locations for the first three trips in 2014 in December. We will also give the dates for opening the lotteries for each trip.

To all who participated in the Christmas  lottery…Thank you!
