Brooklyn’s DREAMERS are set to release their debut album, This Album Does Not Exist, in two weeks, and we’re really glad they actually exist. Their grungy rock oscillates between dirty and clean spaces, toying with both psychedelia and pop in a really fun yet masterful way. The album’s lead single, “Wolves”, is playful in aesthetic but reflective in tone as Nick Wold sings the woes of the inevitable influence of others, both negative and positive. “And if you lie down with wolves, you learn to howl,” he sings amidst conditions inflicted on him by his vicious significant other. “Wolves” leaves us with the knowledge that DREAMERS know how to write one hell of a rock song, and their latest single, “Waste My Night”, is no different with a heavier scuzzy, rhythmic guitars and a driving chorus.
