Changing Skies … | Hornblowers Restaurant at Gourdon

Hornblowers GourdonIt was a Saturday afternoon much like today where the rain was drizzling, the skies a gloomy gray and the weather just felt oppressive and dense. We had spent an extremely enjoyable lunch in St Andrews catching up with old Indian friends of ours. After a not so taste-tastic meal at the Jigger Inn which was more than made up for by the wonderful conversation and an absolutely deliciously chilled bottle of Laurent Perrier Rosé we motored up the road to grandma to take her out for supper. We were dining that evening at the Hornblowers Restaurant in Gourdon. Having never been there before I was looking forward to hopefully what was going to be a yummy supper. It is about a 20 minute drive from Montrose and is situated in a beautifully picturesque harbour, a little like our Easter Monday lunch at The Anchor Restaurant. However this was very different (and far superior in my opinion).
