Chaler Ruti / Rice Flour Ruti / Ruti Pitha

In south India , we make a similar roti with rice flour known as Akki roti. This recipe reminds me of that roti. This is simple and easy to make with just two ingredients. This roti is gluten free as made with the rice flour.

Chaler Ruti / Rice flour Ruti / Ruti Pitha

1 cup rice flour + for dusting

Boil water along with salt.

Add in the rice flour and mix with a wooden spatula / ballon whisk.

Cook the contents for two minutes and take off flame. Let it cool.

Knead the dough well and divide into equal parts.

Roll each part by dusting rice flour with the rolling pin into thin round roti.

Cook on medium flame on a hot griddle.

Cook on both sides till the brown spots appears.

Serve with your favorite curry.
