CES 2015: The World’s First iPad Racing Wheel

Posted on the 13 January 2015 by Anna Peterson

CES revealed a number of fun and interesting gadgets, and one of them was oriented towards iPad gaming.

Kolos is the name of the first racing wheel for the iPad, and it is compatible with the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air and the iPad Air 2 (up to 9.7″), which means that it cannot be used with the iPad 1 and the iPad Mini.

Kolos Wheel

Kolos can be used for all driving games with a control system based on motion sensors. Your iPad fits in the middle of the wheel, and you lock it in place with a set of silicone clips. It can be attached to most surfaces (less than 2 inches thick), while the rubber coating gives you a more comfortable grip on the wheel. Even if you are not that into games, you can still use Kolos as a regular stand for your iPad.

For now, there are no details about the production, price, and launch date of this interesting gadget, but as soon as we know more, we will let you know. :)
