Celebrate the Arrival of Spring with a New Kishi Bashi Video [video]

Hey guys, it’s the first day of spring! It’s sunny, you can walk around without five sweaters and eight scarves, the birds are — oh wait, I’m sorry. None of that matters because Kishi Bashi just released a video for “Philosophize in It! Chemicalize with It!”, which 100%, absolutely takes precedence over  the changing of the seasons! Granted, the completely overwhelming joy of the song is meant to be enjoyed in this season, so go frolic in the soon-to-be blossoming flowers while visualizing the many-colored dots from the video. There is some spectacular animation that really does look a lot like what I imagine brain synapses look like, and has the best turn around and fake smile since the Dr. Funke’s Family Band Solution. It perfectly illustrates the nature of the song in all it’s joy, both manufactured and sincere.
