Canada Blooms 2013 HeaderSpring Has Sprung!

Well, it has at the Direct Energy Centre anyway. While the wind was blowing and the snow was gently falling outside, I was invited inside for the media preview and breakfast kicking off the 17th Annual Canada Blooms show.

Coffee Urn Flowers
Whenever I have a chance to get to trade shows like Canada Blooms I try to walk the floor and grab some pictures and a sense of what everyone will see when the doors open and the public comes in. Unfortunately I didn’t get to walk a ton of the floor this morning, but I was able to get some pictures of the amazing floral displays that you’ll see and I will be going back to see more and take more pictures before the show ends.

Note: I’ll also be heading into the National Home Show which is also on at the Direct Energy Centre – this is the 2nd year that the 2 shows have come together to put on 1 HUGE event at the same time.

Here’s where I take a quick minute to thank the show for inviting me to the launch and to the sponsors for the media kit and goodies. Sheridan Nurseries handed out some awesome stuff for their 100th anniversary and I think there may even be something Mother’s Day worthy in there. Breakfast was also tasty and the coffee hit the spot. I wish I had been able to stick around for the guided tour, I hear it was pretty fantastic.

Canada Blooms and the National Home Show run from March 15 to the 24 and will see a ton of traffic over the 10 days.

For any gardening enthusiasts – this is a must attend. Especially if you want a chance to see speakers like Mark Cullen, Sandra Pella and Frank Ferrangine. There is much to learn, many demos on schedule and a plethora of resources sitting at the booths and ready for consumption!

Here are some more pics that I was able to snap this morning before it was time for me to duck out. Check back in for more in a few days and enjoy the show!
