The modern all-glass cockpit of the newest Foxtrot model Chinook on display to the public during the Hiller Aviation Museum’s all helicopter HeliFest event. The CH-47 is among the heaviest lifting Western helicopters and this new model has a top speed of 195 mph, making it the world’s fastest military helicopter. The F-model is a rebuild effort of the CH-47D and to extend the model life to 2060, although there are many F-models that are all new airframes. These new Chinooks also sport a new color optimized for forest, desert, and sky backgrounds. Nikon D500 w/18-200 mm, processing with Aurora HDR and Aperture.
