SF Fleet Week, N2749U United Airlines Boeing 777-300ER,

@ San Francisco, CA

October 2021

A fun part of the San Francisco Fleet Week airshow is the flight demonstration by United Airlines.  For 2021, they showcased their 777-300ER aircraft with some very dynamic maneuvering over the Bay.  First flown in 1994, the 777 is the world’s largest twinjet and utilizes the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft.   United operates 22 777-300ERs in their current fleet.  The 777-300ER features raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings and a modified main landing gear.  The -300ER is the best-selling 777 variant with more than 800 delivered.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
