Body Wash Picks – Simply Ivory Original Scent & Johnson’s Baby Bath Milk

Simply Ivory Original Scent Body Wash – I’m happy I was able to find a smaller bottle of Simply Ivory for the photo.  Both of these come in jumbo sizes, too.  This is such a pretty scent, I just wish it were a bit more powerful but it breaks the day open for me with a whiff of clean freshness.  It’s not citrus-y which is great because I’m not extremely  fond of citrus scents in toiletries.  To me it’s soapy, bouncy, with a dash of floral baby cologne making its way through at some point…and I obviously suck at describing it LOL.  Basically if my bedsheets smelt like it I’d bury my nose in and nearly suffocate myself with glee.  I think of peppery soap shavings tossed in a bowl with a few gardenia and jasmine buds…I’m not 100% sure if those are the correct floral notes I smell, I’m going by memory.

Johnson’s Baby Milk Bath – A lot of Filipinas put on the lotion from the range, me included a few years back.  I know this because I was out once and counted smelling about 2 or 3 girls passing me with the same milky clean scent.  This for me is a bit more hydrating than the Simply Ivory One, it’s got a bit of a younger, creamier, soft soap scent and costs way less too (because it’s not imported from the U.S.) and can be found like almost everywhere from pharmacies, to groceries, to department stores.  A former, former, flame liked smelling my shoulder repeatedly whenever I paired this with the lotion.  When the Simply Ivory one is out of stock at S&R I never fail to grab a bottle of this to replace it.  It’s way more affordable and smells stronger, too.  I’m excited to see what the reformulation is like…if it’s more moisturizing or something.
