Black Mirror‘s fourth season was posted on Netflix on December 29th.

‘Black Mirror’ Now Streaming On NetflixSeason four consists of six attention-grabbing episodes.  With how busy it is during the holiday season, it’s certainly easy to miss such an update.  For those who are like me, you’re probably just realizing it.  Be warned, the episodes are addictive.  I’ve stayed up far too late watching three at a time.  They also might not be the best thing to watch right before bed.

The show has received awards since airing in 2011, but probably it’s most talked about and awarded episode so far has been “San Junipero” (3×04).  The episode received awards from IGN Awards for best TV episode/best streaming exclusive, GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular LGBT character), BAFTA Television Craft Award for best makeup and hair design, along with Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Television Movie and Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special.

Not familiar with Black Mirror?  The show is a British science fiction anthology series (think The Twilight Zone) that centers around how technology can impact our lives for both the better and the worse.  Ever wonder what life would be like if you could disappear into a video game?  Ever think it would be great if you could record everything you see and do and be able to play it back for yourself (and even others)?  Ever wonder what life would be like if you could rate people in life?  Black Mirror shows you these and more!  Dive in and don’t forget to tell us what your favorite episodes are!
