Between The Lakes

Our next stop was the cozy town of Tata:

Tata and Tatabanya are not the same town! If you are looking for magnificent scenery, you better go to Tata. It is situated in a valley, surrounded by big and small lakes. The town has got some beautiful castles and churches, but on a very hot afternoon, the only thing Lars and I could think about was to be near one of the lakes.

We were afraid that it was going to be crowded. There are a couple of pubs and restaurants near the water, but most people were scattered around the lake. Some were having a stroll, but most of them were having a picnic, sunbathing and swimming. Lars and I just sat on a bench, admiring the views and observing the people around us. A lazy summer day…

I took a lot of pictures in Tata, but I somehow managed to make a selection for the blog.
