Belgian Wit – Red Collar Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Red Collar Brewing in Kamloops in the Thompson Okanagan comes their "Belgian Wit". The beer pours a cloudy straw colour with a white head. The aroma consists of spices, citrus and wheat and Belgian yeast. The flavour is of wheat, citrus, lemon, coriander, spices and Belgian yeast. The alcohol content comes in at 6% with an IBU of 14. While I do not run out of my way to drink a Belgian Wit this one is doing all the right things and would be a great one to pick up this summer.

Commercial Description: A cloudy wheat beer brewed with Seville oranges and coriander. A light mouthfeel paired with citrus and spice aromas makes for a very refreshing beer.
