But as of recent, everybody is talking about this range…
It’s not the first time that the breathtakingly beautiful model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has collaborated with M&S as she’s known for a stunning lingerie range with the brand. However, 2016 has seen Rosie take a different route and bring out her own collection within the Autograph makeup range. I’m always sceptical about celebrity collaborations as they can sometimes be a tad gimmicky, but this one is far from that.
Encased in the most shelf-worthy rose gold packaging, the pieces are bound to stand out on your dresser. I began with the stunning eye shadow quad in the shade Ballet Slipper (£18), a mix of pearlescent tones of pink and purple with a black to darken if needed. The shadows were pigmented enough to show up on the lid in a few sweeps and blended seamlessly well together to create the prettiest look – something different than I’d usually go for! I then applied the Gel Eyeliner (£12.50) in I’m a Fox Star, a bronze tone which adds a subtle yet defining effect to the water line and lash line – staying put too!
I then moved onto the cheeks which is where the real magic happens – I am well and truly smitten with these particular products! I have never been one for stick contours like this Starstruck Contour (£15) but oh my – this is a dream, the perfect shade to add depth and shadow whilst warming up the face. The product blends easily, which was what I was worried about most, and really helps add that extra definition to the cheekbones. After applying some of the cream blusher in Romantic Flush (£14) for a effortless healthy glow, I added some of the Starstruck Highlighter (£15) to finish the cheeks off. As well as applying some to my nose and cupids bow as it really shone when the light hit.
To complete the look, the lipstick in Lady Rose (£14) – a muted pink with a nude finish, perfect for everyday wear. I can see this formula being a big hit with a lot of people, so I’ll definitely be heading to my nearet M&S to check out the other shades as well as the rest of the range – it all looks so beautiful. I need to get my hands on the cream eyeshadow sticks!
I know everyone is raving about this range recently, and – well – that’s because it’s incredible. If you try one product out this April, try something from this range! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, will you be picking anything from Rosie for Autograph up?
