Eylure is known for their fabulous false lashes, mostly. I have used them myself for years as they've always been a fail safe brand for when I need my peepers to flutter more. When an email popped into my inbox telling me of their venture into eyebrow products, I was so intrigued. When you are so set in your market, how will it work out when you branch further up the face, so to speak? I take my brow products very seriously as they frame your entire face so I need them to be as fleeky as possible. As long as it's not warm-toned, can give me a killer arch and a pointy ass tale, I'm a happy makeup lover.
First up, we have their Pomade (£8.95), which I was super keen to see how it played out due to being such a huge lover of the cult Dip Brow! The first thing I noticed was the scent, a minty little tingle which I noticed is a feature of all the products, I'm not complaining like - they smell fresh! The product is insanely creamy, which I did not expect, an almost softer gel eyeliner consistency. This can be a bit of a pain if you want clean lines, but they are easily put right! The product has a lot of pigment, meaning you only need the teeniest amount before you go full on intense brow. I think in small doses, that'll be great! The Brush and Wand Duo (£6.50) I used with the pomade wasn't as sturdy as I'd hoped, but it's a great size if you have larger eyebrows as you can cover so much space.
The Brow Contour (£8.95) is a product to go for if you prefer a softer, more natural brow. The pencil is easy to use and perfect for filling in any gaps that you may have. I have a scar at the front of one of my brows which makes it shorter than it's sister, but with this, I can easy create the illusion that they are the same. The opposite end of the brow color is great for cleaning up the brow and any mishaps you may have, it doesn't 'highlight' as such but conceals to create sharp looking edges. Finally, we have the Brow Amplifier (£8.95), a coloured brow gel. This one is hella pigmented, so can easily be worn by itself to add an extra dosage of color to an already full brow and it shapes the brows into place to keep them at bay. One thing, though, make sure your wipe the brush before you first use it, otherwise, you'll end up with it everywhere.
So there's my two-pence piece on the new products from Eylure. What are your go-to brands when it comes to your furry buggers? Let me know in the comments!
