So Marilyn has it all in the name, a lipstick that represents one of histories most iconic women; Marilyn Monroe. In fact, all of the ranges' lipsticks were made with other iconic ladies and looks in mind, from the likes of an Audrey Hepburn nude to a super vampy crimson lip - there's a little something for everyone.
I would say that this lipstick is your stereotypical, glamorous red - a shade that will no doubt suit all. The packaging feels and looks luxurious, a rose gold bullet with the CT engraving on the top and the actual lipstick is shaped to perfection, making application so much easier. The pigmentation is enough so that you need one quick sweep across your lips; I say quick, I like to be a bit more precise and slow when applying such bold colours! The formula is comfortable on the lips and lasts all day long, even through eating and drinking and it amazingly doesn't bleed so you don't need to worry about constantly checking to make sure it's staying in place. It's a creamy finish that isn't matte yet isn't too shiny, perfectly in the middle.
CT is on form with her lipsticks and I'm desperate to get my hands on some of the Matte Revolution line for winter - so many delicious looking berry shades! Over all, I'm going to save this for those days where I want to wow, it's just... incredible! Let me know what shades you're lusting after in the comments - thank you for reading!
