Loud rock music is here to stay. Dutch quartet Beachdog, with former John Coffey singer David Achter de Molen on vocals, hit the ground running with their debut single Crawl in Pieces, a neo-grunge anthem a la Soundgarden. Achter De Molen grew up in a heavy-handed Christian enviroment, until he discovered the cooler, outside world at age 15. It's his belated goodbye to his youth..

Marshall-stack lovers will give this a big thumbs up and will take note of Ruben Lisman, a guy who really can play guitar.

Crawl in Pieces is released via Snowstar Records. Comes to 7" vinyl on November 19. The B-side Milk is even louder. It is available for pre-order here.

Live dates:
  • 10/08 Innocent, Hengelo
  • 10/09 De Zwarte Ruiter, Den Haag
  • 10/15 Left of the Dial, Rotterdam
