BATMAN: THE SECOND SEASON, PART 2 On DVD – Review

The BAMS! and POWS! return with this Bat-tastic DVD set of the final 30 episodes of the caped crusaders’ second season.  It should come as no surprise that Part 2 has the same vibrantly colored, restored episodes, that retain all their whimsical charm that they had in the 60s as Part 1 did.  In this set, the dynamic duo find themselves meeting up with guest star villains like Tallulah Bankhead’s Black Widow, Walter Slezek’s Clock King and more.  We also get super-villain team-ups like Joker & Penguin which give this set a bit more fun with the antagonist that Part 1.  Best of all, we find Batman and Robin teaming up with the Green Hornet and Kato in this set!!

The set itself contains episodes:

Summary

Just like with Part 1, I found myself sitting back, watching these episodes, and getting taken back to a time when I would sit and watch the reruns after school at my Granny's.
While the acting and campiness hasn't improved with time, you've never been able to view it better than you can now, with the incredible picture and color!
Cesar Romero would be proud of how green his hair looks, and how clear you can see his mustache now!
