A lot more awards were announced over the weekend for the 2012 season. Almost everyone, except LAFC, has named Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty the film of the year. Obviously it is on my must see list when it finally comes out in this area. Other interesting awards would have to be Amour winning best picture at the LAFC. While there’s little doubt it should sweep most Foreign Picture races, it would be interesting to see it seek up into the top 10 films of the year. There’s a lot more groups announcing in the coming days including the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes. Stay tuned.
