I started participating in #ASKAWAYFriday and I have enjoyed it. I love connecting with other bloggers and learning more about them. I wanted to participate in this blog hop because I don’t always share a ton of information about myself. I thought #ASKAWAYFriday was the perfect way for everyone to get to know me on a personal basis. For those who don’t know what #ASKAWAYFriday is, you exchange a set of 10 questions for another blogger to answer. Below are 10 questions that Melissa asked me and I hope that you enjoy my answers.

This week I exchanged questions with Melissa from Home On Deranged.  Melissa is married and has two beautiful girls.  I have been reading Melissa’s blog for a few months now.  You can find a wide variety of topics including parenting, True Tales from the Pink and Blue Trenchs (a great series from Melissa and Jodie), DIY projects, and my personal favorite her husband’s Chasing Rabbit’s series.  If you and your children co-sleep you should read My Bed Has Turned Into a Freaking Clown Car.

  1. Your blog is a buffet of information for parents from pregnancy to the teen years. How do you do it?

I have three children and when I started this blog, my youngest was a few months old.  At that point, I was writing for breastfeeding mom’s only.  Once, I started getting traffic to my blog and started writing full time it was time to grow and expand.  I wanted to share real topics that related to things that I have experienced at some point.  I usually try to add my own personal experience.  I love sharing my knowledge and helping others.  My children have also been a source of a wide variety of my blog posts.  When I have trouble finding topics to write about, I will browse Twitter, Facebook, and other blogs until it triggers an idea.
