This week’s on the rise artist goes to the sensational new upcoming band called Magic! This group of male singers/song-writers originate from Ontario, Canada. The band focuses on a reggae fusion rhythm. It is composed of songwriter and producer Nasri who’s on lead vocals, Mark Pellizzer, Alex Tanas, and Ben Spivak.
This band has been active since the year 2013 when they made their release of the hit song “Rude“. “Rude” hit number six on the Canadian Hot 100 mid October of last year and has proven to be a wonderful success internationally. It has peaked on the top ten list throughout the States, Europe, Australia and etc.
On June 30th 2014 the band released their debut album “Don’t Kill The Magic“, it too peaked number five on the Canadian Hot 100 also reached number 6 on the Billboards 200.
These gentlemen have worked with other well known artists such as Shakira, on her track titled “Cut Me Deep” along with her Fifa world cup album. Magic! Has most definitely brought a certain magic back into the world of music and I have a great feeling these talented artists will continue to spread the joy and peace we all search for when listening to a certain song. These men have been active for nearly two years and already they’re taking the music world by storm. They’ve proved themselves the new kings of reggae. As a personal fan I look forward to their next project, I’m certain it will be smashing. Incredibly talented minds find magic in the simplest words and create a beautiful sonnet that takes a listener into another world. MAGIC! Has that same effect on their fans.
