Director Anurag Kashyap is these days a very unhappy man. The reason for his unhappiness seems to be team PK. PK is the forthcoming film of Aamir Khan which is directed by Raju Hirani, both of them have a very close relationship with director Anurag Kashyap. When director, who is currently making his most expensive film till date, announced that he is going to release his film Bombay Velvet for Christmas later in the year, he had asked the both Aamir and Raju Hirani duo about the release plan of their film and whether they too are planning for a Christmas release. It was after they confirmed that they wouldn’t he went ahead with his release date.
Now after few months of all that happening, the director came in for a rude shock when he was told that his film Bombay Velvet would be clashing with PK. All he ever wanted was that any one of the two Aamir or Raju Hirani told him about the plans for release before making it official. He could have then looked at rescheduling his film. But now this is unfortunate, he feels. As things stands today both PK and Bombay Velvet are slated to have a Christmas 2014 release. Let’s see if there are any last minute twists.
