Antipsipation IPA – Red Bird Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Red Bird Brewing in Kelowna comes their "Antipsipation IPA". Packaged products like this can are brewed at Factory Brewing in Vancouver due to the fact Red Bird Brewing is a very small Nano Brewery. The beer pours a golden colour with a white head. The aroma consists of tropical fruit, citrus with some malts and floral hops. The flavour is of tropical fruit, citrus, grain, resin and a good bitterness hit. The alcohol content comes in at 6% with an IBU of 65. This is a nice West Coast style IPA and a nice change of pace with so many IPA's being of the Juicy variety now.

Commercial Description: Ever celebrated a journey that's gone off the rails? It was 1925 in Kelowna, BC. Anticipation was high for the city's first train, and a civic holiday was declared! Alas, the festivities were cancelled when the train tipped near Brandt's Creek and couldn't make it to the party. Undeterred, a crew got it back on track... and when it pulled into the station the next day, citizens enjoyed ANOTHER holiday. When things derail, make sure you "cheers!" - preferably twice.
