2014 said to have the lowest purchased cinema ticket in two-decade. Considering all the big budgets movies last year like Amazing Spider-Man 2 and many other, it’s one big step back. Maybe the remakes and sequels movies aren’t enough to make people excited to the cinema. Or is it the expensive ticket? For pile of bucks, companies willing to remake success movies in the past. But, at some point, people (or me) must be tired with the visual parades with no essence. They should remember how the magic of the story can win big. Remember Forest Gump?

For what it’s worth, some movie series still have strong community and fans. Like Bond or Star Wars. It’s the company and movie makers job to fulfill the fans expectation, and finally win the box office.

For 2015, I’m hoping the latest Cameron Crowe project will finally be released and I’ll catch it before the year ends. Reading from his site, Bill Murray already joined the cast. Let’s hope it’s as good or even better than his previous movies. The rest are movies that looked interesting from the director and cast, and stories. Also, how the previous installment left me curious. Here’s 9 movies I anticipated for 2015 :
