The company used to charge $3.99 for the app, but seems to have had a change of heart recently, which is why the app is now free to download. However, if users wish to purchase new themes for their keyboard, they’ll have to pay for them.

The store added 30 new themes, both free and paid versions, and users can also purchase packs of themes. Those who have paid for the SwiftKey app will get a Premier Pack of 10 themes once they have downloaded the update. The latest update features new emoji support and emoji prediction for devices running Android 4.1 or higher. SwiftKey has also improved its prediction engine and revamped its flow-trail feature, which lets users type by swiping their fingers across the keyboard.

SwiftKey is also planning to release an iOS app, now that Apple’s announced that iOS 8 will be able to support third-party apps.
