In the late afternoon light, this Emirates A380 departs the International Terminal for a long flight to Dubai. The A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner. Initially named Airbus A3XX, the A380 made its first flight in April 2005 and began commercial service with Emirates in 2008. Emirates plans to have 140 of these aircraft in service.
