Add Something Extra to Dishes with Bisto Stock Melts

By Mummysspace @mmeeee
Bisto recently launched a new product, Bisto Stock Melts, which are little portions of concentrated stock that contain real meat juices, herbs and seasoning to deliver extra depth of flavor and enhance dinnertime dishes with a richer taste. We were lucky enough to be sent their full range of chicken, beef and vegetable stock melts to try along with a selection of ingredients and I have to say after putting them to the test they have certainly lived up to their claims.

We tried the beef Bisto Stock Melts in spaghetti bolognese, the vegetable ones in risotto (which I made for the first time and was delicious) and the chicken stock melts in a variety of stirfrys, casseroles and rice dishes along with giving homemade soups that something extra by using vegetable ones in place of my normal stock cube. The Bisto Stock melts add more flavor to dishes and have given our daily dishes a new lease of life. I find them less salty that some of the other brands of stock cubes and pots I have tried in the past which is a big win for me and as you can add them directly into cooking without the need to dilute them first they are a lot less messy and quicker to use. They certainly have the "aah Bisto" factor. Bisto Stock Melts come in packs of six for £1.89 and are widely available from supermarkets.

Bisto also sent us a very cute apron and chef's hat for Ben to wear while helping out in the kitchen which he loves. Whenever he puts it on he calls himself "Baker Ben" and looks ever so proud with himself so I want to say a big thank you for it.
