As the first weekend has come to an end we take a look at the numbers and the scale of mayhem that has been caused by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Daredi. It has collected a phenomenal 33 Cr plus in first weekend itself which up until yesterday was the record number for first week.
This phenomenal feat is achieved as the film went on a rampage across various territories like Karnataka, Chennai, US and Overseas. In all those territories Atharintiki Daredi has managed to set new benchmarks in terms of opening weekend collections. Take for example Tamil Nadu, here the film has collected almost double of its previous best. In US Atharintiki Daredi, despite the rampant piracy has reached the top 3 in terms of collections by amassing a huge 1.52 Million in its first weekend.
