Thoughts on Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World

ThoughtsMaster and Commander: The Far Side of the World is a maritime thriller showing one captain getting caught up in chasing down an enemy ship that is alluding him, while also posing a major threat to them in combat. The film will see the head strong captain clash with his best friend and ship’s surgeon over what is best for the men, whether they should continue the chase or discover more of a world. The pacing for this film is wonderful, showing the slow discoveries along the way, which will help inspire more of the battle, while showing the battles the sailors will find themselves going through. Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany are brilliant in the leading roles and the film looks amazing thanks to the cinematography.

Final Thoughts Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is a masterpiece of cinema, filled with tension throughout.
