During our first part of our visit to Hungary, we stayed in Aranyptko fogado Panzio in Györujbarat:

Things didn’t look good in the beginning. The young hotel staff did not find any trace of our reservation… Luckily, they could come up with a solution. The owner of the hotel had another one building, though it resembled looked more like a hostel. We decided to have a look anyway. Our room was not luxurious, but it was spacious and clean and we had our own bathroom. We decided to take it, on condition that all our drinks were charged at 50% of the normal price.
Our review: what we liked very much was breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. We cannot recommend the beef dishes, since the meat they used was way too fat. Excellent beers and wines and cozy restaurant.
