Bryan Singer tweeted a new picture of Hank McCoy a.k.a. Beast from his upcoming X-Men film, which I believe is a step up from the wheelchairs he tweeted before. So here it is.
I gotta say, this picture doesn’t invoke any likeness to Nicholas Hoult and looks twice as old when compared to the version from First Class. He doesn’t look as “beast-ly” as the picture above it…and when I look closer, he sort of resembles a more gentle, bluer Wolverine.
Here’s a quote from Bryan Singer that he sent out along with this picture.
“Many a monster wears the form of a man; it is better of the two to have the heart of a man & the form of a monster”
How quaint…probably doesn’t do much to console ol’ Hank McCoy (and probably doesn’t stop him from seeking a cure nonetheless), but a more “Phantom of the Opeara-esque” twist to his persona may help him get more screen time than his thousand other co-stars.
