People reports that a statue of Satan was unveiled at a secret location on Saturday. Obviously some people found this offensive for religious reasons although a director for the organization that organized the statue unveiling said it was non-theistic.
Anyway, we have additional suggestions why people in Detroit might not like the statue.
1. The White Stripes are from Detroit and released the album “Get Behind Me Satan.” So we suspect Jack White would be mad if the statue is not behind him, which it may very well not be as it is in a mystery location.
2. Not enough evil-looking gargoyles on the buildings in Detroit. Or the gargoyles fell off condemned buildings.
3. No neighborhood called “Hell’s Kitchen” in Detroit.
