One of my favorite things Lily and I love to do is read books together. It's a ritual we've done since she was about 5 months old and would listen to me read while I rocked her to sleep. Now at almost three, she loves pointing to the pictures, helping to read along with me and enjoy the plot of each book. I try to keep books entertaining, simple and full of large pictures.
I received 10 Secretes to Being A Lady and it was a book I knew that Lily would enjoy reading with me. As a Mom, I'm always encouraging her to use manners, be kind to others and above all stay true to herself. This book really shows young girls ( and even boys too ) that it's not on the outside thats important but the inside. It showcases how we hope our daughters will handle change, speak with a voice and radiant your confidence. All of these secrets are what I hope to instill in Lily as she continues to grow.
