Chasing Joy is a 31 year old woman who has overcome the most difficult time of her life. A time that included hating her job, a rough break up, and most devastating losing her dad to cancer two months after diagnosis. Chasing Joy was was held back by depression.

This is where Chasing Joy's perspective on life and desire for Joy is coming from. In about a year and a half her whole life changed and the vision she had of her future was erased. She lost herself a bit. She could not seem to find that light-hearted and optimistic girl that she used to be, not to mention she also gained 40lbs (gasp!!!) in a year due to all the stress. So this quest for Joy is her attempt to be happy again after so much heartache, to not only find her old self but to improve herself.
