Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Launching on 3rd March in India

Xiaomi is all set to release the Redmi Note 3 in India on 3rd March. Xiaomi’s India Head Manu Jain tweeted about the launch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched in China last year for RMB 899.

Originally, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched with an octa-core Helio X10 MediaTek processor however due to the legal limitations that Xiaomi cannot sell a MediaTek device in India, Indian version of Redmi note 3 will be powered by a MSM8956 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650hexa core clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 510 GPU.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 houses a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. Redmi Note 3 runs on MIUI 7.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.0.2and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 150.00 x 76.00 x 8.65 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 164.00 grams. It will come in 2 variants, a 16GB ROM + 2GB RAM or a 32GB ROM + 3GB RAM and will have a  5.5 inch IPS LCD.

Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS with GLONASS, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi and Finger Print scanner and will be dual SIM handset sporting 4G on both the sims. The highlight of this device is a mammoth 4050mAh battery. In terms of pricing it may be around Rs 9000 for the 16 GB version and Rs 12,500 for 32GB version.
